Reassurance Patrols Continue to Keep Gants Hill Safe |
||
|
Barkingside Safer Neighbourhood Team officers recently carried out high-visibility reassurance patrols in Gaysham Avenue and Seven Ways Parade, Gants Hill, focusing on concerns raised by local residents around anti-social behaviour, street drinking, and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). We are pleased to report that no issues were identified during our patrols and there were no individuals engaged in street drinking at the time of our visit. While this is a positive outcome, we recognise the concerns that have been raised by the community and want to reassure residents that these locations will continue to be regularly monitored. Working closely with our local authority partners, we will take appropriate action where necessary. As a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) is in place, individuals found breaching its conditions may be subject to enforcement action, including Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs). Thank you to everyone who continues to report concerns and engage with your local officers. Your information helps us keep Barkingside a safe and welcoming place for all.
